Mrs. Ruby ("Ma Ruby") Britt Wilkerson, age 80, of Orrum, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Southeastern Health in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County on October 21, 1933 to the late Mort and Annie Cox Britt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Oliver Atkinson; her husband, Graddy Wilkerson and two brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Wilkerson is survived by three sons, Ricky Atkinson and special friend, Dixie Jacobs Atkinson, of the home, Keith Atkinson and wife, Mandy of Orrum and Stevie Mort Wilkerson and wife, Sharon of Supply, NC; one daughter, Lynn Bass and husband, Billy of Orrum; one brother, Grady Britt of Lumberton; two sisters, Magalene Hardin and Louise Parker, both of Lumberton; six grandchildren, Shane Stone, Josh Stone, Blake Atkinson, Shay Atkinson, Travis Wilkerson and Lee Spearman and one great-granddaughter, Gabriella Stone. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 2:00PM at Broadridge Baptist Church in Orrum with Rev. Michael Longson officiating. Burial will follow at Broadridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
