Roy Lee Rogers, age 68, of Dillon, SC died on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Robeson County, NC on July 21, 1941 to Whatman W. Rogers and Bertha Tyner Rogers. He was an electrician. He also served in the National Guard.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Rogers.

Mr. Rogers is survived by one daughter, Amanda Rogers of Florence, SC; three brothers, Neal Rogers of Lumberton, NC, Fred Rogers of Charleston, WV and James Rogers of Orange Park, FL; three sisters, Hazel Hardee of Lumberton, NC, Elizabeth Ferguson of Brookville, FL and Trosa Taylor of Clinton, NC; one lifetime friend, Johnny Parnell; and one grandchild, Katlyn Richardson.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton with Rev. Worth Gerald officiating.
