Roy Lee Hunt age 67, of Fairmont, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 11:00 am at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Rev. Ricky Burnett officiating.

Burial will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, April 25, 2016 from 6-8pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

He was born July 13, 1948 in Robeson County to the late Worth Hunt and Bessie Cummings Hunt. He was employed for over thirty years with Benson Construction Co.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Jones; two brothers, Worth Hunt, Jr. and Howard Allen Hunt.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Tawana Lynn Hunt, Josh Hunt and wife Crystal, Justin Hunt, Frankie Hunt and Jason Hunt, all of Lumberton, Roy Hunt, Jr. and wife Ann and Anthony Hunt of Fayetteville, Michelle Hunt of Maxton and Buffie Hunt of Baltimore; two brothers, James L. Hunt of Fairmont and Sylvester Hunt of Lumberton; two sisters, Bessie Mae Hammonds and Doris Oxendine both of Lumberton; 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; special friends, Stephen Benson, Charles Cummings, Cookie Hunt and the employees of Benson Construction Co; a special thank you to Southeastern Hospice House Employees and Health Keeperz for their service.
