Rosetta Oxendine Lewis, age 84 of Fairmont passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be held Sunday June 18,2017 from 7:00 PM-9:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Funeral services will be held Monday June 19, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Northside Independent Church with Revs. Timmy Hunt and Eugene Chavis officiating.

Burial will follow in Benson Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was born October 2, 1932 in Robeson County, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Furman Oxendine and Stella Chavis Oxendine; her husband, J.B. Lewis; one son, Bobby Gerald Lewis; one daughter, Infant Lewis; one sister, Thea Oxendine; and grandchildren, Donnie Lewis and Ronnie Lewis.

She is survived by six sons, James Earl Lewis of the home, Ralph Lewis and wife Deborah, Jeffery Lewis, and Roger Lewis, all of Fairmont, Don Lewis, and Timothy Lewis and wife Lizzie, all of Lumberton; four daughters, Agenora Chavis and husband James L. of Fairmont, Elaine Rose Lewis, and Regina Branch and husband David, all of Lumberton, and Rosie Lewis of the home; seven brothers, Lacy Oxendine, Douglas Oxendine, Winford Oxendine, Fairley Oxendine, Garland Oxendine, Danny Mark Oxendine, and Ted Mickey Oxendine, all of Rowland; four sisters, Edith Oxendine, Bliggie Oxendine, Odessa Oxendine, and Virgie Lois Oxendine all of Rowland; thirty six grandchildren, forty four great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
