Rosalie "Tootsie" Taylor Faulk, age 79, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County on August 26, 1936. She was formerly employed as an LPN at Lumberton Children's Clinic. She was preceded in death by her father, William A. Taylor, and one sister, Pattie Wilson. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Hubert A. Faulk, of the home; her son, Dr. Alan Faulk of Charleston, SC; her daughter, Jane Lee Faulk Barger and husband, Steven, of Lusby, MD; her mother, Alice Warwick Prevatte of Charleston, SC; four brothers: Billy Taylor of Roswell, GA, Bobby Taylor of Charleston, SC, Wayne Taylor of Luling, LA, and David Taylor of Lake Charles, LA; three sisters: Sherry Lamb of Palo Alto, CA, Connie Ingram of Wilmington, NC, and Sally Baxley of Lumberton; five grandchildren: Jason, Rebekah, Trevor, Dillon, and Nicholas; and five great-grandchildren. A time of visitation will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2015, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Godwin Heights Baptist Church, with Rev. David Hawes, Rev. Leslie Sessoms, and Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
