Mrs. Rosa Mae Kane Bengtson, age 94, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020, at her home. She was born in Pinellas County, FL on May 1, 1925 to the late William Kane and the late Gladys Peek Kane.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Bengtson, and a son, Thomas Bengtson.

She is survived by one son, Eddie Bengtson and wife Gwen of Lumberton; a daughter, Frances Ann Andress and husband David of St. Augustine, FL; a daughter-in-law, Kay Bengtson; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Chestnut Street United Methodist Church, 200 E. 8 ^th Street in Lumberton. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Herbert Lowry officiating.
