Mr. Ronnie Lee Taylor, 74, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022. He was born in Robeson County, NC on June 16, 1947 to the late Gertie Lee Bane.

He was formerly employed as a knitting mechanic for Alamac American Knits for over 25 years until retirement. On his downtime, he enjoyed woodworking in his shop.  Ronnie was also a longtime member of Trinity Holiness Church. But, most of all, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: B.L. Cox, Mitchell Cox, and Albert Cox and one sister, Barbara Potts.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Taylor of the home; his children: Patrick Taylor (Erin) of Chicago, IL, Julie Leggett (Greg) of Lumberton, NC, Mitchell Taylor (Melva Reyes) of Hope Mills, NC, Gwen Daniels (Terry) of Evergreen, NC, and Tina Coleman of Lumberton, NC; 8 grandchildren; two brothers, Ricky Suggs and Larry Suggs; six sisters, Georgia Rose Arnette, Josie Britt, Lucy Thompson, Debbie Carnles, Regina Bisbee, and Janice Rozier.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 2:00-3:45 PM at Trinity Holiness Church, 4650 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM with Pastor Jamie Lewter officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
