Ronnie Locklear, age 67, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Robeson County, NC on August 16, 1956 to Hosbie & Carlan Locklear. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. and later became a plant manager for Acme Electric Co.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Locklear; his children, Shaun Locklear (Andi) and Tabitha Hammonds (Jeff); his grandchildren: Kristen Watts, Abby Locklear, Kasey Jernigan, and Brody Locklear; 6 great-grandchildren; his brother, Ron Locklear; and his sisters, Carolyn Jacobs and Kathy Stocks.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church, 5089 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ron Locklear and Rev. Blake Dodd officiating.
