Ronnie Locklear's Obituary
Mr. Ronnie Locklear, age 58, of Lumberton, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016. He was born in Robeson County on November 23, 1957 to the late Zeb Locklear and to Katherine Locklear.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Thompson; two brothers, Ricky Locklear and Mickey Locklear and two great-grandchildren, Josiah and Jonah Thompson.
He leaves to cherish his memories with his mother, Katherine Locklear of Lumberton; three sons, Angelo Thompson of Bennetsville, SC, Austin Thompson (Billie Jo) and Harlie Thompson, all of Lumberton; two daughters, Angie Scott and April Thompson, both of Lumberton; one brother, Jeffrey Locklear of Lumberton; two sisters, Kathy Locklear (Ernie) and Sheila Locklear (Herbert), all of Lumberton; a sister-in-law, Jackie Thompson of Lumberton; a brother-in-law, Ervin Thompson of Lumberton; nine grandchildren, Dinah, Shannon, Thaddeus, Betty, Donnie, Donovan, Cierra, Brionna and Kendyn; three great-grandchildren, Jonah, Kaylen and Karlee and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 3:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton. Burial will follow at Oxendine Cemetery.
A time of a visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 2:00-3:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberto n.
