Mr. Ronald Lee Scott, age 80, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026, at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC. He was born in Robeson County, NC on June 12, 1945 to the late R.C. & Irene B. Scott.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Fran Scott; a brother, Rudolph Scott; and a sister, Jean Hucks.

He is survived by two daughters, Sheila Perez (Benny) of Lumberton, NC and Lorrie Lewis (Rob Johnson) of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; two grandsons, Keith Morris (Amanda) and Kevin Morris (Latoya); and four great-grandchildren: Kasiyah, Gabriel, Paisley, and Rawlins.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Long Branch Baptist Church, 8878 NC Hwy 72 East in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Robert Peltz and Rev. Brett Young officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
