Ronald Maurice Pittman, age 81, of Fairmont, NC passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. A native of Robeson County, Ronald was born on January 23, 1944 to Charlie Duncan Pittman and Marjalene Ivey Pittman.

Ronald was a lifelong member of Centerville Baptist Church. Ronald loved God, his church family, friends, and special friends Jay and Rose Ellen Capps. He especially loved all those who helped him through his journey called life. His journey is now complete.

Ronald is survived by his sister, Marjorie Lynn Atkinson; his nephew, Mark Charles Atkinson; his niece, Rita Atkinson Styron (Paul); and great-nephew, Hugh William Styron.

Family visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 in the fellowship hall of Centerville Baptist Church, 3428 NC Highway 41 South, Lumberton, NC at 1:00pm. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm in the sanctuary at Centerville Baptist Church. A graveside service will then take place at Floyd Memorial Cemetery, 1591 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC directly following the memorial service.
