Ronald S. Nealy, age 77, of Lumberton, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018. He was born September 10, 1940 in Robeson County to the late Lonnie Nealy and the late Pearl Meares Nealy. He was a distributor for Coble Dairy Company. Ronald will be remembered for his dedication to God and his church, East Lumberton Baptist Church, of which he was a lifetime member and served as an usher for 50 years.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Baxley Nealy, and a brother, Kelly Nealy.

Ronald is survived by his son, Ronald "Ronnie" S. Nealy, Jr. of Lumberton; three grandchildren: John Ronald "J.R." Nealy and wife Lauren of Winston-Salem, Pamela Elise Nealy of Nashville, TN, and Bradley Gibson Nealy of Cary; one great-granddaughter, Ella Elizabeth Nealy; and his siblings: Jewel Reeves, Earl Nealy and wife Lynda, and Sue Britt and husband Grady, all of Lumberton.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Friday, May 25, 2018, from 10:00-11:00 AM at East Lumberton Baptist Church. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael Bowen and Randy Graham officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton.
