Ronald Earl Burney, age 66, of St. Pauls, NC, passed away at UNC Southeastern Regional Medical Center. Ronald was born on December 11, 1958 in Gary, IN to the late David Earl Burney and Stella Mae Parker. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew; Michael Burney.

Ronald was a retired car detailer. He enjoyed NASCAR, the Chicago Bears, and detailing cars. He enjoyed trips to the beach with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Rose Sentoro Burney; daughter, Wendy Elizabeth Harkness and husband Gregory Curtis Harkness; grandson;, Alexander Rose Harkness; daughter, Heather Genine Pruitt; sister, Sandy Burney; brother, Derek Burney; nephew, Terry Burney; and niece, Stephanie Burney; as well as numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at West Lumberton Baptist Church, 2320 W. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM with Pastor Rick Foreman officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Robeson County Humane Society, 3180 W. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC.
