Ronald "Ronnie" Earl Barnes, 55, of Lumberton, NC went home to be with the Lord Tuesday June 7, 2022 after an extended illness.

Ronnie loved anything outdoors, especially fishing. He was one that always kept people laughing and wondering what was to be next.

Ronnie will be missed by many because to know him was to love him. Whether you knew him a lifetime or a short time he was one to never be forgotten.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edzell and Lucille Barnes; his biological father, Robert Lee Barnes; two step-daughters, Bobbie Lynn Britt and Stephanie Lamm.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanen of the home; three sons, David Lee Barnes of Wisconsin, Daniel Ray Barnes and Jonathon Lamm, both of Lumberton; three grandsons, Tacoma, Justin Gaige, and William Jr.; three brothers, Robert Barnes and Jake Barnes, both of Alabama, and David Barnes of Lumberton; his sister, Angie Barnes of Florida, Jessica Barnes of Holden Beach NC, Jenny Barnes of Fayetteville, Misty Melendres Groves of Sunset Beach NC, and Tuesday Barnes of Alabama.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday June 12, 2022 at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc. in Lumberton.
