Ronald Ray Anderson, born July 10, 1959 in Gadsden, AL passed away surrounded by the love of his family in Jacksonville, FL on June 1st, 2026.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Anderson; his daughter, Samantha, and son-in-law, Cody; and his cherished grandchildren, Scarlett and Derek Tripp. He is also survived by his sister, Sherry, and her husband, Don; his sister-in-law, Beth; his nephew, Kevin, and his wife, Kellie; and their children, Elliot and Taylor.

Ronald dedicated much of his life to law enforcement in North Carolina and was deeply committed to serving and protecting others. He had a passion for coaching and mentoring, always willing to invest his time and energy in helping others succeed. Whether through his work, his volunteer efforts, or simply lending a helping hand, Ronald made a lasting impact on his community.

An avid Motorsport enthusiast, Ronald found freedom and joy on the open road, lake, or ocean. He was known for his warm heart, unwavering integrity, and willingness to help anyone in need. His strength, wisdom, and sense of humor made him a source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew him.

Above all, Ronald was a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and dedicated family man. His family was the center of his world, and the memories they shared will forever be treasured.

Though he will be deeply missed, Ronald's legacy of service, compassion, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His impact on his family, friends, and community will never be forgotten.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.
