Ron Murdock, age 56, of Saint Pauls, NC, entered his heavenly home on Sunday, March 3, 2024. He was born in Horry County, South Carolina on November 27, 1967.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Mishoe; his sister, Ann Norris; and his son, Zachery Murdock.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Gloria Britt Murdock; his children: Chris Murdock (Christa), Alyssa Cochran (Hunter), and Aaron Murdock (Kasey); and his grandchildren: Erin, Delton, Landon, and a baby girl on the way and a sister, Michelle Gardner.  He also leaves behind a host of family and friends.

Ron was a true example of how to be a man of God. He loved his family dearly and devoted his life to preaching the word of God. He pastored Westview Pentecostal Holiness church for the last 12 years and truly loved his congregation. He would drop everything if you called him in need and would give you the shirt off his back (he even tried to give someone the shoes off his feet once). Ron will be truly missed, but we rejoice knowing he's pain free and in the arms of Jesus.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 812 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 3:00 PM at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 812 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Darrell Little and Rev. James Hodge officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
