Roger Dale Tyner, 70, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Woodlands Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville. He was born in Robeson County on May 21, 1946 to the late Hasley Tyner and the late Dorothy Bruce Tyner. He was a veteran of the US Army and was formerly employed at Cox Motor Sales.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers: Nathan "Son" Tyner, Larry Tyner, Stevie Tyner, and James Richard "Dickie" Tyner; and two sisters: Dorothy Jean Tyner and Sally McMillian.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Tyner of the home; one daughter, Judy Whitticar and husband David of Clarksville, TN; three sisters: Patsy Daniels and husband Preston of Blythewood, SC, Linda Townsend and husband Harold of Lexington, SC, and Debbie Willoughby and husband Alex, Jr. of Norwood, NC; three grandchildren: Aaron, Savannah, and Sam; and two great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel.

Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ken Pritchard officiating.
