Roger Ray Locklear, age 55, of Fairmont passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

He was born January 28, 1966 in Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by his father, Winford Locklear, Jr.; and a brother, Milton Hunt.

He is survived by his mother, Rosie Locklear of Lumberton; his step-mother, Viola Locklear of Fairmont; his long-time companion, Carol Potter; four sisters, Lorraina Worley, Ivelisse Hunt and Mary Locklear all of Lumberton and Shelly Locklear of Rowland; several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Monday May 10, 2021 from 1-3pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

A funeral service will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel Monday, May 10, 2021. Burial will follow in Fairpoint Free Will Baptist Church.
