Mr. Roger Huggins, age 75, of Greensboro, NC, was born October 9, 1946 to the late Robert Lee Huggins, Sr. and the late Dorothy Mae Hunt Huggins. He transitioned to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro, NC.

Roger was educated in Columbus County, NC and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy early in life. After service, he became the owner-operator of H&H Roofing in Greensboro, NC. He was also a longtime member of Triad Native American Methodist Church.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Huggins Watts, and his wife, Frances Locklear Huggins.

Roger leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Patricia Huggins Cromartie (Micheal) of Lumberton, NC; his granddaughter and great-grandson, Latisha S. Williams and Bentlee A. Hargrove, both of Lumberton, NC; a sister, Eunice Huggins Strickland of Petersburg, VA; a brother, Robert Lee Huggins, Jr. of Greensboro, NC; and several extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
