Rod McQuage, Jr., age 68, of Fairmont went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 26, 2025 at his home.

He was born October 14, 1956 in Robeson Couty to the late Rod McQuage, Sr. and the late Tildea Seals McQuage.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mack "Buckshot" McQuage; two sisters, Elosie Kling and Emma "Hattiecall" Smith.

He is survived by a sister, Bernice Hayes of Fairmont; a special niece, Tilder Hunt (Bryant) of Fairmont; three adopted grandson, Elijah Hunt (Sofie) of Orrum, Bryan Hunt (fiancé, Cassidy) of Red Springs, and Landon Hunt of Fairmont and a host of special nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 1:00-2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC. A memorial service will immediately follow in the chapel at 2:00PM with Pastor Tracy Scott officiating.
