Mr. Rockey Hunt, age 66 of 1692 NC Hwy. 904 W. Fairmont passed away March 2, 2013 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. He was born September 7, 1946 in Robeson County to the late Trussie and Lizzie Bell Oxendine Hunt. Also preceded in death by three brothers; Dick Tracy, Shelton and Harry Lee Hunt; and two sisters, Louise Marshall and Effie Mae Hunt. He is survived by his wife, Deborah H. Hunt of the home; one step-daughter, Candy Holmes; five brothers, Redell, Robert, A.G., Glenn and D.C. Hunt; three sisters, Hazel and Sandra Locklear and Linda Epps; three grandchildren,Alexa and Brandon Hunt and Christian Gonzalez. Funeral services will be Friday, March 8, 2013 at Pleasant View Baptist Church at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Ricky Burnett and Timmy Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, from 7-9 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
