Robin Hunt, age 78, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. He was born September 7, 1942 in Robeson County, NC to the late Worth A. Hunt and Rachel Chavis Hunt;

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Datris Hunt, and three sisters: Lena Locklear, Mary Lois Long, and Ester Hunt.

Robin enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, keeping his grass cut, and making sure his beloved dogs got fed before anything else.

He is survived by his wife, Cora Lee Hunt of the home; a daughter, Ann Marie Hunt of Lumberton, NC; five brothers: William Hunt, Cleatious Hunt, David Hunt and wife Annie Ruth, and M.H. Hunt and wife Janet, all of Fairmont, NC, and Wallace Hunt and wife Sharon of Orrum, NC; and a sister, Nancy Deaver of Faison, NC.

A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Thursday, September 2, 2021, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Reedy Branch Baptist Church. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Reedy Branch Church Cemetery.
