Mr. Robin "Rob" Cummings, age 49, of Fairmont, NC entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. Robin was born April 3, 1973 in Scotland County, NC.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Cummings; a sister, Debra Faye Strickland; and his father-in-law, Jimmie Dean Locklear.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 28 years, Christina Locklear Cummings of the home; two sons, Austin Cummings and wife Alicia and Brandon Cummings and friend Shaquita, all of Fairmont, NC; his mother, Nancy Cummings of Fairmont, NC; one brother, Marty Cummings of Fairmont, NC; one sister, Carol Sue Locklear and husband Snag of Fairmont, NC; one granddaughter, Navaeh Cummings; his mother-in-law, Mary Locklear of Fairmont, NC; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Locklear and wife Amanda of Lumberton, NC; and a great host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont, NC. Burial will follow in Fairpoint Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
