Mr. Robert Stanley Singletary, Jr., age 62, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023, at SECU Jim & Betsy Bryan Hospice Home in Pittsboro, NC. He was born in Robeson County, NC on April 24, 1961, to the late Robert "Bob" Singletary, Sr. and the late Willa Mae Ward Singletary.

Known as "Rebel" to his family and friends, Stanley enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going fishing, taking trips with his family, or just spending time at home grilling out and watching NASCAR and other motor sports. He also liked going out to eat, always trying new restaurants.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Bullock, and his stepson, Joshua Perdue.

He is survived by his wife, Valery Singletary of the home; his son, Robert "Robbie" Singletary III of Hammonton, NJ; his daughter, Christina Carrell of New Jersey; his stepson, Robert Perdue; his grandson, Robbie "Fatboy" Perdue; his brother, Danny Singletary and wife Melissa of Bladenboro, NC; his sister, Denise Summerlin and husband Mark of Elizabethtown, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, and his dog "Babycakes".

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Dale Taylor officiating. Following the service, the family will receive friends and loved ones.
