Mr. Robert Lorenzo Sessions, age 76, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Robeson County on October 31, 1943 to the late Virginia Thompson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was later employed in the construction business.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Britt Sessions; two brothers, Bill Lowe and Tommy Thompson; and two sisters, Janie Tyner and Wanda Holmes.

He is survived by his son, Mark Sessions and wife Elizabeth of Lumberton, NC, and a granddaughter, Harper Sessions.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2020, at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Jeff Blackburn officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105; or to Southeastern Hospice House, 1100 Pine Run Drive, Lumberton, NC  28358.
