Robert Henry Moody, Jr., age 50, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at his home. He was born in Elizabethtown, NC on July 22, 1972.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Henry Moody, Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Mr. Rob & Emma Moody; his brother, Bobby Moody; and his sister, Frances Moody.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother and stepfather, Carolyn & Hubert Locklear of Lumberton, NC; his siblings: Michael (Cindy) of Whiteville, NC, Jeffrey (Sandy) of Lumberton, NC, Chester (Michelle) of Stamping Ground, KY, Selena K. (Victor) of Lumberton, NC, Tamathy (Rob) of Bunnell, FL, Pamela Leach of Lexington, KY, Deborah Bishop of Versailles, KY, and Shirley Moody, Tommy Moody, and Jenny Moody, all of Florida; 2 stepbrothers and a stepsister: David (Head) of Lumberton, NC, Hubert Ray of Raeford, NC, and Deloris Gamez of Burlington, NC; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends; and a special little friend, his chihuahua, "Odie Moody".

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC, with Pastor Mark Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
