Mr. Robert Lee McBride, Jr., age 70, of Lumberton, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019, at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. He was born on September 5, 1948, in Baltimore County, MD and he was formerly employed with Diamond Shamrock Co.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee McBride, Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Viola May Shifflett McBride of Spring Hill, FL; his wife, Linda Dale McBride of the home; two sons, Robert Wayne McBride, Sr. (Christy Lynn) and Douglas James McBride, Sr. (Crystal Lyn), all of Lumberton; seven grandchildren: Robert Wayne McBride, Jr., Victoria Lynn McBride, Douglas James McBride, Jr., Rebekah Renee Zegles, Kelley Lyn McPike, Jonathan McBride, and Byron Lee McBride; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers: James William McBride of Baltimore, MD and Roger Wayne McBride of Newkirk, OK; and one sister, Linda Faye Locklear of Spring Hill, FL.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 3, 2019, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, with Rev. Redell Hammonds officiating.
