Mr. Robert "Bobby" Lewis Herring, age 78, of Lumberton, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Southeastern Health in Lumberton.

Funeral services will be conducted at Antioch Baptist Church in Lumberton on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 3:00 PM.  A time of visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the church. Burial will be at Meadowbrook Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.

The family of Mr. Herring will also welcome friends at 43 Kensington Street in Lumberton from 4:00-7:00 PM on Monday, February 18, 2019.

Mr. Herring was a graduate of Littlefield High School and Pembroke State University, a member at Antioch Baptist Church, a US Army Veteran, formerly employed with Waccamaw Bank and United Carolina Bank, and he was the Executive Director of Advancement Regional Business Lenders, Inc. for the last 37 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnie Benjamin Herring and Annie Elizabeth Lewis Herring.

He is survived by his daughters, Krista Leigh Herring and Kelli Beth Herring, both of Lumberton; his sister Joan Elise Herring of Siler City, NC, and the mother of his children, Jeanette Herring, of Lumberton.
