Robert Floyd Hardin, 68, of 1449 NC Hwy 41-S, Lumberton, NC died on April 22, 2009 at the Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. Mr. Hardin was born on December 16, 1940 to Franklin Cortez Hardin and Lorena Lewis in Robeson County, NC.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Thomas Layton Hardin.

Mr. Hardin is survived by one son, Travis Floyd Hardin and his wife Nancy of Fuquey Varina, NC; three sisters, Ina Ruth Horne of Dublin, NC, Betty Lou Sealey of Orrum, NC and Myrtle Rose Scott of Lumberton, NC; one sister-in-law, Lynn Hardin of Dillon, SC; one grandchild and nine nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the Proctorville Cemetery at 11:00 AM with the Reverends Ed Wilcox and David Rutland officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 24, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont, NC and at other times at 1449 NC Hwy 41-S, Lumberton, NC.
