Mr. Robert Calvin Britt, Jr., age 66, of Lumberton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
He was born to the late Robert Calvin Britt (??Pete?) and Velma Britt Smith on December 22, 1946. He worked in the textile industry for about thirty-five years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clemateen Britt (??Tina?) of twenty-six years; two brothers, I.D. Britt and Horace Britt; two sisters, Dorothy Anderson and Lucille McLamb and a step-son, Tony White.

Surviving are his children, Sherry Vega, Robbie Britt, Vickie Britt, Timmy and wife, Kesha Britt, Sabrina and husband, Frankie Willis, all of Lumberton; two step-daughters, Carolyn Deese and Teresa Dean; two step-sons, Ronnie Haynes and George Haynes of Raeford, NC; fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and a host of special nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 2:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Randall Sneed and Rev. Tom Britt officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
