Robert D. Brediger, DDS, age 76, of Lumberton, NC died on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born in Elton, OH on August 1, 1933 to Doris H. and Ruth Price Brediger.

He was a graduate of Brewster High School in 1951. He was a graduate of the Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1962. He was a member of Delta Signa Delta Dental Fraternity and also OKU Dental Honorary Fraternity. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Brediger is survived by his wife, Ann Joyce Brediger of the home; two sons, James Robert Brediger and Michael William Brediger of Cartersville, GA; one daughter, Kathleen Brediger Hansen of Lumberton, NC; and five grandchildren, Jessica Lauren Brediger, Jaime Renee Brediger, Rebecca Ann Hansen, Kayla Elizabeth Hansen and Mary Nicole Hansen.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church with Father Roger Kappel officiating. Visitation will follow the service in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the home, 2110 Wyndam Boulevard in Lumberton.
