Mr. Robert Wayne Baxley, 56, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. He was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on May 16, 1966 to the late Roland & Carolyn Baxley. Robert had a love for life and enjoyed having a good time with his friends and family and listening to bluegrass music.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Baxley.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Baxley of the home; his daughter, Christie Prevatte and husband Patrick of Lumberton, NC; his stepson, Ronnie Anderson, Jr. of St. Pauls, NC; his brothers: Harold Baxley and wife Mary of Tennessee, David Baxley and wife Debra of Marietta, NC, and Paul Baxley and wife Dana of Rock Hill, SC; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will be holding a memorial gathering on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 1:00-4:00 PM at the family home.
