Ricky Hunt, age 66, of Laurinburg, NC and formerly of Fairmont, NC passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC.

Ricky was born February 26, 1958 in Robeson County, NC to the late Cleveland Hunt and the late Macie Oxendine Hunt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Maitland Hunt Hicks and Betsy Ann Hunt Chavis; a brother, Jimmy Hunt.

Ricky is survived by two sisters, Mary Mitchell and husband Rev. Bobby Mitchell of the home, and Allie Lois Sanderson of Fairmont, NC; three brothers, Cleveland Hunt Jr., of Charlotte, NC, Samuel Hunt (Ruthie) of Charlotte, NC, and Grover Hunt (Geneva) of Laurinburg, NC; special nieces and nephews, Teresa Hunt (Kalem), Vivian Hunt (Nakia), Terry Mitchell (Bertha), Robbie Mitchell; great nieces and nephews, Tyler Mitchell (Kaitlyn), Takota Mitchell (Jade), great-great nieces, Ashley Mitchell and Terra Jenkins (Ryan); a special caregiver, Carolene Hunt.

A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC.

Funeral services will immediately follow in the Chapel at 3:00PM.

Burial will be at New Bethel Holiness Methodist Church Cemetery at a later date due to inclement weather.
