Ricky Wayne Hunt, aged 64, of Lumberton, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at his home.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Lee Hunt and Dorothy Hunt and his brother, Ronald Ray Hunt.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, of the home; his children, Ashley Hunt, Phillip Hunt and Dorrinda Hunt (Bryan Carter); three brothers, Edwin Hunt (Anita), Larry Dean Hunt and Donald Lee Hunt; two sisters, Linda Lowery and Brenda Ransom (Tommy); seven grandchildren, Saniah, Kenslee, Malicah, Harmony, Brylan, Mikyla and Ayden, and a great-grandchild, Zayden, all of Lumberton.

"Slick Rick", as he was known by everyone, was the most humble man. He loved and cared for his family beyond measure. He was most surely a great man and will be missed by all who knew him.

A time of visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 2:00-3:00PM at the Full Gospel Holiness Church.

A funeral service will directly follow the visitation on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 3:00PM at Full Gospel Holiness Church.  Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.
