Ricky Irvin Cox, age 54, of Lumberton, went to be with his heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on August 18, 1966 to the late William English Cox and the late Violet Horne Cox.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Brenda E. Cox of the home; his children, Kristy Miller (Mitchell) and Stanley Rogers, all of Lumberton, NC; a sister, Bonnie Nye (Jeff) of Lumberton, NC; and his nephews and niece: William Barnes (Sharon) of Georgia, Curtis Barnes (Demarie) of Idaho, and Amber Nye of Lumberton, NC.

The family would like to extend a special word of gratitude to the nurses and staff from Southeastern Hospice Care, for their kindness and attention over the last twelve weeks.

There will be a graveside service on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at 3:00 PM in the Baker-Bryan Family Cemetery, located at 9930 NC Hwy 41 N in Lumberton NC.
