Rickie Lynn Barnes, age 64, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Southeastern Hospice House of Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County on May 8, 1949. He was formerly a self-employed welder in the community. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Herring Grimsley. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Marie Barnes, of the home, his father, Herman Barnes, of Fairmont, two sons, Shane Barnes and Jason Barnes and wife, Stephanie, all of Lumberton, one daughter, Rhonda Ennis of Langley, SC, three brothers, Patrick Barnes, of Fayetteville, Karey Barnes and Michael Barnes, both of Fairmont, one sister, Alaine Deal, of Bracey, VA, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
