Richard Stacy Lewis, age 88 of Lumberton, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. He was born December 11, 1926 in Dillon County SC. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 2:00PM at Reedy Branch Baptist Church with Revs. Hilton Woodell and Timmy Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Fairmont. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 6-8PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Lewis and Dora Huggins Lewis and one son, James W. Lewis. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Mazola Lewis of the home; three sons, Rickie Lewis of Fairmont, Stacy J. Lewis of Fairmont, and Reno Lewis of Lumberton; four daughters, Loretta Lewis of the home, Mary Lois Hunt of Rowland, Sherry Brewington of Lumberton, and Sarah Walters of Proctorville; twenty one grandchildren; thirty- seven great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
