Mr. Richard Oxendine age 52, of Fairmont, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 at 2:00PM at Apostolic Church of Pembroke 241 Henry Berry Rd. Rowland with Rev. Earl Chavis officiating.

Burial will follow in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 7-9PM at Apostolic Church of Pembroke 241 Henry Berry Rd. Rowland.

Richard was born October 12, 1963 in Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie "Freeman" Oxendine.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Kelly Hammonds of the home; a son, Jason Jones of Lumberton and a stepson, Lloyd Hammonds of Lumberton; a step daughter, Kristy Hammonds of Lumberton; his mother, Lessie Mae Oxendine of Fairmont; two brothers, Willie Junior Oxendine of Pembroke and Jerry Oxendine of Fairmont; two sisters, Roberta Oxendine of Fairmont and Pauline McIver of Lumberton; eight grandchildren, Alex, Tony, Lloyd Wayne, Zachery, Jay, Shania, Harmony and Maddie; two great grandchildren.
