Mr. Richard Harris Oliver, age 73, of Fairmont, NC passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at his home. Mr. Oliver was born January 26, 1951 in Robeson County, NC.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Carl "RC" Oliver; and a sister, Myrtle Oliver Floyd.

He is survived by his mother, Lida Leggett Oliver of the home; a sister, Betty Karl Oliver (Dixon); a brother-in-law, Fred Floyd; nephews, Fredrick J. Floyd (Laura), Samuel Britt (Brittany); great nieces and nephews, Maddox Britt, Sawyer Britt, Cash Britt, Rose Floyd and Charlie Floyd.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Olivett-Mariett Cemetery, 1792 Affinity Road in Fairmont, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Olivet United Methodist Church or to Marietta Cemetery.
