Mr. Richard Edwin Morgan, Sr., 86, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was born in New Jersey on August 29, 1928 to the late Clarence C. and Mary Gault Morgan. He was formerly employed as a chemical engineer for the Converse Shoe Company. He is survived by his companion, Shelby Baxley, of Lumberton, one son, Rick Morgan and wife, Nicolle, of Raleigh, one daughter, Suzanne Morgan and companion, Mr. Gail Albertson, of Lumberton, and three grandchildren, Rachel Crenshaw, Nick Crenshaw, and Jessica Morgan.
