Remer Edwin "Ed" Sirmans, age 83, of Lumberton, NC entered heaven on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  He was born in Hillsborough County, FL on June 5, 1932 to the late Remer and Katie Jackson Sirmans.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked in heating and refrigeration for Ameco Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Cameron Sirmans.

Mr. Sirmans is survived by his wife, Patricia English Sirmans of the home; sons, Michael Glenn Sirmans (Jamie) and Reggie Lynn Sirmans (Theresa) all of Lumberton; a daughter, Lisa Sirmans Lovin of Whiteville; grandchildren, Joshua Sirmans, Missy Pittman, Lauren Lovin, Megan Sirmans, Madison Sirmans, and Jackson Sirmans;  and great-grandchildren, Tyler Pittman, Brendan Simmons, and Dylan Sirmans.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 PM  at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Clybonville Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
