Mrs. Billie Regina "Genie" Sanchez, 50, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022. She was born in Robeson County, NC on December 26, 1971.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Richardson, and her late husband, Francisco Garcia Sanchez.

She is survived by her mother, Marilyn Hunt (John) of Evergreen, NC; her husband, Octavio Hernandez of the home; her mom, Margaret Richardson of Lumberton, NC; three children: Ryan Daniel Garcia-Sanchez and Adriana Brooke Garcia, both of Lumberton, NC, and Angela Maria Garcia-Sanchez of Rowland, NC; two grandchildren, Alahna Sophia Davis and Ahleya Raelyn Davis; her brother, Timmy Ray Richardson (Sandy) of Chadbourn, NC; her sister, Sandra Kay Nance (Alvie) of Evergreen, NC; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
