Rebecca Carter Seals Miller, age 70, of Pembroke, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Southeastern Regional Medical in Lumberton, NC.

She was born December 16, 1950 in Robeson County to the late Early Ike Carter and Queen Ester Smith Carter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Seals and Harvey Miller; a son, Lawrence Miller; a great-grandson, Ryland Adamiah Miller; two brothers, Buddy Carter, Jr. and Chan Carter; and a sister, Brenda Demry.

She is survived by two sons, Willie Miller and wife Bobbie Hunt and Bill Seals and wife Frances, all of Pembroke; two daughters, Queen Elizabeth Hernandez and husband Tony Laws and Holly Miller and husband Brian Oxendine, all of Fairmont; two brothers, David Carter of Maxton and Michael Carter of Ft. Mills, SC; four sisters, Joyce Oxendine of Pembroke, Nancy Oxendine of Rowland, Teresa Carter of Red Springs and Ester Revels of Rowland; her grandchildren, Margaret Emily Wells, Destiny R. Seals, Tiffany L. Seals, Antonio Inbarra, Lily Hernandez, Jasmine Jones, Jeremy Jones, Jr., Lindsey Spivey, Adam Lynn Miller, Gabriel Lee Miller, Yasmine Miller, Harvey Miller, Latoya Ann Miller, Sandy Renee Miller, Alicia Cummings, Jessica Rivera, Ashkea Rivera, Harmony Oxendine, Brian Oxendine, Jr., Christian Oxendine; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, August 12, 2021, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. in the chapel.
