Mr. RD Hunt, age 77, of Fairmont, NC, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. He was born June 26, 1943 in Robeson County, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva Hunt and Florence Hunt; and a brother, Crayton Hunt.

He is survived by four daughters: Wanda Kay Hunt of the home, Sheila Hunt of Fairmont, NC, Celia Hunt and husband Willie Smith of Rowland, NC, and Kathy Hunt Torre of Lumberton, NC; a son, Patrick Lynn Hunt of the home; four brothers: Linwood Hunt and Bobby Hunt both of Lumberton, NC, Alva Hunt and wife Ann Marie Hunt of Rowland, NC, and James Edward Hunt and wife Virginia Carol Hunt of Rowland, NC; one sister, Peggy Jane Hunt and husband Johnny Hunt of Fairmont, NC; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, February 21, 2021, at 2pm at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Burnett, Rev. Lesaundri Hunt, and Bishop Kenny Mitchell officiating.
