Mr. Raymond Lnooe Spivey, Jr., 88, of Lumberton, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Wesley Pines Retirement Center in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County on July 6, 1925. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia "Jean" Burns Spivey. Mr. Spivey is survived by his daughter, Virginia "Ginger" Burns Spivey and husband, Glenn Edward White of Silver Springs, MD; two sisters, Joan Teague of Florida and Lillian Blake of Waynesville, NC; and two grandchildren, Madeline Jean Spivey-White and Harold Raymond Spivey-White.
