Mr. Charles Ray West, 72, of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on April 11, 1949 to Charles Rexford & Ruth Bullard West.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Martha Gail Parnell West; his brother and sister-in-law, Ted Rexford & Margie Mayers West; another brother, Charlie West; and a special grandmother, Lillie Norris Bullard..

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda West Lynn and husband Jamie; his son, Christopher West; three grandchildren: Riley West, Sara Lynn, and Nathan Lynn; and two sisters, Susan West and Jean Lee.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 3:00 PM at West Family Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Pastor Gary Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.

Due to safety precautions, the family is requesting that all who attend please wear a face mask and observe social distancing.
