Ray Terry Parker, age 73, of Lumberton, NC died on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County, NC on March 13, 1939 to the late Owen Parker and the late Fannie Smith Parker. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He previously worked as a truck driver for Lindsey Oil Company.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Sue Parker and two sisters, Shirley Cartrette and Joyce Parker.

Mr. Parker is survived by his wife, Betty Parker of the home; a grandson, Brandon Parker; a brother, William Parker of Pickens, SC; and three sisters, Janice Sanderson of Boardman, Helen Stevens of Lumberton and Sandra Ivey of Boardman.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton with Pastor Jeff Broadwell officiating.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
