Mr. Ray Ronald Oxendine, Sr., 74, of Rowland, NC, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Fayetteville Manor Alzheimer's & Dementia Care of Cumberland County. Mr. Oxendine was born in Robeson County, NC on June 13, 1947, to the late Edward Norman Oxendine and the late Flora Isabell Hunt Oxendine.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ray Oxendine, Jr.; two sisters, Bettie Lois Dietrich and Lucille Campbell; and a brother, Charles E. Oxendine.

He is survived by three children: Lynn C. Bowman, Mary E. Oxendine, and, stepdaughter, Betty A. Christian; three grandchildren: Cheyenne A. Lewis, Malaci T. Oxendine, and Hailey L. Lewis; four siblings: Erma N. McWilliams, Glenn A. Oxendine, Colleen Chavis, and Colby D. Oxendine; and a multitude of extended family and beloved friends.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM, at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM in the chapel at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Lumbee Memorial Gardens in Lumberton, NC.
