Mr. Ralph McMillian Floyd, age 81 of Fairmont passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at his home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Fairmont. Burial will follow at Floyd Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. He was born January 18, 1934 in Robeson County. He was preceded in death by parents Fred Williams Floyd and Sarah Lillian Bullock Floyd; one brother, Francis Floyd; and two sisters, Elizabeth Canaday and Pearl Saleeby. He is survived by his wife Betty Anne Inman Floyd of the home; two sons, Joseph McMillian Floyd (Karen) of Concord, NC and Keith Williams Floyd (Susan) of Lumberton; two daughters, Cheryl Anne Floyd Kirmse of Supply, NC and Sharon Floyd Lewis (Tim) of Fairmont; two brothers, Richard Floyd of Lexington, NC and Carey J. Floyd of Fairmont; one sister, Hilda Floyd Merrill (David) of Wilmington, NC; six grandchildren, Mac, Dustin, Sarah, Leah, Haley, and Luke; and four great- grandchildren.
