Raeford "John" Hodge, age 68, of Fairmont, NC passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026.

He was born July 30, 1957 in Columbus County to the late Dayton Hodge and the late Mary Hodge.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Hunt; his sons, Raeford "Jim Bob" Hodge and Ray Dwayne "Beaver" Hodge; and a sister, Nancy Jones.

Raeford is survived by his sister, Belinda Hursey (Randy) of Fairmont; two special nieces, Teresa and Tina; two special nephews, Dayton and Bobby; two grandchildren, Miracle and Logan; a special friend/brother, Wayne Hodge; and a special friend, "Jon Jon" and a host of other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February, 17, 2026 from 12:00-1:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont. Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel at 1:00PM.

Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont.
